Blatant ceasefire violation: Israel struck Gaza 3300 times in 251 days
text_fieldsGaza: Palestinian authorities have accused Israel of violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement more than 3,300 times during the 251 days since the truce came into effect on October 10, 2025. The allegations were detailed in documents officially submitted to international mediators and were also reported by Drop Site News.
According to the documents, Israeli actions since the ceasefire began have resulted in the deaths of 1,005 Palestinians and injuries to 3,157 others. Those killed reportedly include 238 children, 111 women and 30 elderly people. Among the injured are 1,570 women and children.
The report states that Israel continued military actions after the ceasefire, including live fire, airstrikes, shelling, military incursions, house demolitions and the detention of civilians. It also alleges that Israeli forces continue to occupy 34 square kilometres of territory beyond the withdrawal lines stipulated under the agreement.
Palestinian authorities further accuse Israel of obstructing the construction and repair of electricity, drinking water and sewage infrastructure in Gaza. The documents also allege that humanitarian assistance is being deliberately restricted.
Under the ceasefire agreement, 600 aid trucks, including 50 fuel trucks, are supposed to enter Gaza each day. However, the report claims that only 36 per cent of the required aid is currently being allowed in, while fuel deliveries stand at 14.7 per cent of agreed levels.
Citing figures from the World Food Programme, the report says 77 per cent of Gaza's population is facing severe food shortages. It also states that nearly 100,000 children and 37,000 pregnant women are suffering from acute malnutrition. Restrictions on travel through the Rafah border crossing also remain in place, according to the documents.
